Anchor of Hope and MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet Partner are nurturing young talent for the workforce of the future
Anchor of Hope, an NPO that provides skills development and training to young people, has partnered with MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet, to improve the lives of children and young people in South Africa
MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet has funded a program that offers life skills and basic welding training to 20 students. The program is designed to help young people develop the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century economy.
“We are excited to partner with Anchor of Hope to help young people prepare for the future of work,” said Pieter Twine, General Manager of MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet. “By providing skills development and training, we are helping young people to develop the skills they need to succeed in the economy.”
The program is being delivered by Anchor of Hope’s experienced team of trainers. The trainers have a deep understanding of the skills that young people need to succeed in the workplace, and they are passionate about helping young people achieve their goals.
“We are committed to helping young people develop the skills they need to succeed in the future,” said Nadia Mvulane, CEO of Anchor of Hope. “This program is a great opportunity for young people to learn new skills and to gain valuable experience.”
The program is currently underway, and it is expected to be completed in early 2023. The graduates of the program will be eligible for placement in apprenticeships or employment opportunities with Anchor of Hope’s workforce partner, SA Truck Bodies.
“We are confident that this program will help young people develop the skills they need to succeed in the future,” said Twine. “We are grateful to Anchor of Hope for their partnership, and we are excited to see the impact that this program will have on the lives of young people.”
